Before I Jump. . .

This was the project that has taken me almost half a year to finish, sad I know. (Keep in mind I worked on it once a week, I've barely watercolored before, and the paper was HUGE)

Anyways this is my original character from a story I'm writing (Dreamscape) , in which she's standing on the edge of a bridge saying her last goodbye to the boy she loves before jumping. Maybe I'll put more pictures of her up, she's so fun to draw ;)

it is a sad story, but this part of the story happens really before the book begins. its just that her death is like a big part in the people's lives who are important in the story

I did, but the rest of the story is happy so it balances it out :) Yes only in the book, no connections to real life, dont worry :)

your watercolor is so good! I'm jealous X3!~ You can stay within the lines and everything, and the colors blend nicely.There could be more shading on the girl, but it was a first attempt so it's all good. Also, don't put lines at the top of the breasts!

haha actually the skin looks better in real life, i took a photo of it, so hence a lot of my shading went right out the window. I've just decided that I really love watercolors and am working on another one right now (:

Oh and about the boobs >///< a guy was helping me proportion them.... good time :)

Oh oh oh I checked out all your new work ! All of it is very lovely, i don't know where you find the time !!! I'm jealous :)

And ugh photos do take out shading! Which stinks cause my scanner is kinda defunct now lol.
And thanks soooo much! I really don't have any time XD. The newest one is the first I did for like 2 months

Ick i've done it again and completely ditched DA D: I hate doing this. Anyhow, I'm trying to figure out if there are different settings on a scanner that can let you get the best quality, because I feel like no matter what I do I can't get it to be halfway decent.

How have you been?

You could try adjusting levels in photoshop or GIMP, that's why I do and then just edit the pics to make em look nicer

And I've been good, just wish I could get off work earliar and hang with my friends more this summer =]
